At Harper Driving School, we are very thankful for the opportunities we have to be involved in locals schools and community activities.  We want to be known not only as a great driving school, but also as people who genuinely care about the students, families, and communities we serve.  We welcome invitations to contribute and serve, and while we cannot say yes to everything, we want to help wherever and whenever we can!

People Against Distracted Driving (PADD)
Nikki's Foundation

We proudly support Nikki’s Foundation - People Against Distracted Driving® (PADD).   PADD was founded October 10th, 2012 by the Kellenyi Family.   Nikki, the Kellenyis' daughter, was killed during her senior year by a distracted driver. People Against Distracted Driving® (PADD) is a fast growing nonprofit working to protect families from distracted driving. With the help of those who want a safer future, PADD’s Campaign to Eliminate Distracted Driving® will help end this danger on America’s roads. As one of the largest growing victim services organizations in the U.S., PADD also supports distracted driving victims and survivors at no charge, serving anyone who needs us 24 hours a day  at 1-234-738-DTAD (3823). The goal is to lower deaths and injury caused by distracted driving. Learn more at www.padd.org.

PADD is currently donating "Stay Alive Don't Text and Drive" signs to schools and towns installing them along significant roadsides, billboards, businesses and in school exits, park exits and anywhere that they may impact motorists.

In addition, PADD is working to spread the awareness of the dangers of distracted driving, providing support for the families affected by such tragedies, and passing new laws to educate motorists, for stricter enforcement and punishment of distracted-driving-related offenses.  PADD is also working with schools to educate students about this new epidemic.
